Day 10 — Current fashion/style you like

Hey everyone. Mkay, so I'm not a huge fashion junky....I dress for comfort lol...and I live in black and red...lol plus where I work it's really easy to get dirty, I've only recently figured this out (through a few pairs of now RIP shoes). haahah. Anywho, I have been noticing like nudes with pops of color...it looks really cute. So, I decided to interpret that with a manicure =]

For the "nude" which is more of a pinky nude: Essie--Eternal Optimist
For the pop of color: Orly--Green Apple
Top Coat: Seche Vite Natural Matte Finish (just because I wanted a slightly more toned down look)
Oh, and the cute little bow was a decal I purchased on ebay. Check them out, they're sooo inexpensive.

Day 09 — Your favorite pair of shoes

Here is a very quick post to fulfill my 30 day challenge commitment, haha. If there is one thing about me you should know, is that I love being comfortable. So I love my moccasins lol I wear a pair almost everyday. And now with the summer heat, come the sandals. I have a few pairs, but my all time favorite pair were my Minnetonkas but after a concert a few weeks ago, they have since been retired ahhaha. Here is another pair I own, I got them from some store at the mall called Shiekh.

Really quickly, just wanted to share with you all the 3 highlighters I've been using lately.
I didn't swatch just because...it's a pain in ass to photograph highlights? lol but when I use these products in a later post, I'll link back to this post.

First we have MAC's Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle

• Peach/Pink bronzey effect with high frost

Laura Geller's Blush-n-Brighten in Como / Portofino

• Peach/Pink bronze effect with not as much frost as the MAC MSF
• 9 grams of product
• You can swirl your brush and combine the top and bottom color for a rosy blush...but I am leaning towards the highlighter more than the the blush.
• Retails for $29.50 from Birchbox.com or Laurageller.com (did not find this shade on the Laura Geller website)

ELF's Studio Bronzer in Golden Bronzer

• Yes, I know it says it's a bronzer but on my skin tone it works as a highlight.
• Warm bronze effect with a good a dewy turnout
• 12.3 grams of product
• Can combine all four shades or choose which one is best for your skin tone.

Day 06 — Anything Hello Kitty...er uhm DOMO

Ok, I know this is the second post "non-beauty" related but this challenge is too cute and fun lol...anywho...so I'm not a HELLO KITTY person..I wont go as far as to say I'm anti-kitty (haahah) but it just doesnt catch my eye...DOMO on the other hand does. I LOVE this little monster and my boyfriend and I have a little connection with it *tummy butterflies lol...well here's this DOMO I designed to look like him...I made it for a birthday card I gave him earlier this year...

and that's my "anything domo post"

oh yeah and am I alone in this non-hello kitty world??? hahaha

Day 04 — Your favorite foundation

hey again! so, I kind of failed at blogging for 30 days straight...well, let me explain. I had to be rushed to the hospital this weekend....such a terrible place to be. It was a really scary experience but at least one of the paramedics that came for me told me she liked my nails, lol. So, that's my reasoning.

Anywho, back to today's blog..my favorite foundation...Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. *sound of the clouds opening up* hahaah. The formula is so nice and blendable..I tend to just use my hands to apply just because it's a very runny and liquidy foundation...so using a brush is a little more of a hassle for me. It gives me medium coverage..and leaves my skin looking so smooooooth. Ah, I just love it :)

Day 03-- Your favorite brush

Hmm first thing that came to mind is my sonia kashuk small multipurpose brush...so soft and versatile and only 11 bucks at target!

Day 01 — Your favorite eyeliner

So, as much as this saddens me...I don't have a favorite. I'm on this epic search for the perfect one. I will share with you all the ones I do use.

GEL:

• MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack
• Retails for $15 USD
• Pro: Stays on forever with a nice matte finish that I prefer
• Con: Need to set with black eyeshadow since my lids tend to be oily :(
  

LIQUID:

• MAC Liquid Eye Liner in Boot Black
  
• Retails for $17.50 USD
• Pro: Very, very matte, and no need to set with eyeshadow
• Con: If you do rub your eyes, you will look like a raccoon :-/
  

PENCIL:

• MAC Eye Kohl in Smolder
• Retails for $14.50 USD
• Pro: Very pigmented and smooth. My favorite for the waterline.
  
• Con: Smudges on me within a few hours...*sigh
